From Rev. Larry Davies:

We lead our churches in the midst of troubled times. I doubt anyone would seriously argue that but I have a saying on my desk that says, "Obstacles become opportunities with God." I believe that as the obstacles get bigger, so do the opportunities to lead and witness our faith in Christ.

I am starting a group for clergy and "about-to-be" clergy. It's a leadership group that will be designed to help us challenge ourselves to be better pastoral leaders. I hope to keep the topics challenging, the prayers meaningful and the discussion open.

Two questions, I ask of myself and other leaders: How big is your dream? How good is your team? One speaks to vision and the other speaks to discipleship and leadership.

Be my guest on the first Wednesday of December: December 6 at 7:30 AM. I'll have some finger food, lots of coffee and juice and promise to finish by 9:00 so that you will have plenty of time to carry out your other duties of the day.

Please email me directly at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to let me know if you are coming and if you have any questions.
